Telepathy – a future means of communication?

October 9, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Then it happened again! I fetch my cellular to call my life partner, but before I can do anything the phone rings. Yes it is my wife, who’s on the line! It happens nearly every time. And if that not happens, her phone is occupied, because she’s about to calling me.

Well, I am among the most skeptical people on the whole, since we Virgos are all to rationalistic to believe in horoscopes and the all the alternative stuff.

But couldn’t it be allowed to consider if telepathy is really existing without renouncing on my rationalistic skepticism?

Though such considerations will raise more questions than offering answers:

Maybe we’re not witnessing telepathy, but just parallel thinking? But if telepathy really exists, can it then be extended to be used as a means of communication? If so, will it then be possible to send to more than one person at a time? Are we going to call it Web 10.0? Or will it not be possible to send more complex messages than “Please call me – making your employer pay the call in stead of my private telephone subscription”?

Answers, please!
